While MÁLA bags are designed to be durable and long lasting, the braided rope exterior and canvas interior should be treated with care. Any contact with harsh chemicals or abrasive surfaces may cause damage.

Keep your bag away from velcro or sharp objects, as these can catch on the intricately braided rope.

You can machine wash your accessories on a low temperature, placed inside a pillowcase and washed on their own with a gentle cleaning solution. Always air dry — never tumble dry.

Alternatively, you can spot clean using a warm, damp cloth with a small amount of gentle cleaning solution if needed.

Some threads are hand dyed and may naturally soften or fade over time this is part of the character of the piece.

Never cut loose threads. Each bag is sculpted and stitched from one continuous length of rope cutting a thread may cause the piece to unravel.
