Welcome to MÁLA Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our website studiomala.com, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our site or making a purchase.

1. General

MÁLA Studio is a textile-led design studio creating handmade bags and accessories. All products are designed, hand-stitched, and shipped by the designer.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to the website.

2. Products & Availability

All products are subject to availability. As each piece is handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, and construction are natural and part of the design process.

We reserve the right to discontinue or modify products at any time without notice.

3. Orders

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract

  • All information provided is accurate and complete

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or availability issues. If your order is cancelled after payment, you will be fully refunded.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP and may include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept payment methods as displayed at checkout. Prices may change at any time without notice.

5. Shipping

Orders are shipped from the UK. Shipping times are estimates and may vary, especially for made-to-order or custom pieces.

MÁLA Studio is not responsible for delays, loss of packages  caused by postal services, customs processing, or events beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes that may apply.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handmade and small-batch nature of our work:

items are non-refundable, unless faulty

7. Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with clear images and details. We will assess and offer a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.

8. Custom Orders

Custom designs are created in collaboration with the customer. Once a custom order is confirmed and production has begun, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. We request 50% upfront payment prior to custom order being made.

Timeframes for custom orders are estimates and may vary.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, designs, text, logos, and product concepts — is the intellectual property of MÁLA Studio and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.

10. Care & Use

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper use, wear and tear, or failure to follow care instructions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MÁLA Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and use your data.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom without regard to conflict of law principles.
